PERMANENT EXHIBITION

Inside the studio is the large exhibition space illuminated by its numerous windows diffusing natural light, a feature that allows to admire the works in diurnal and seasonal variations in light, while the artificial lighting, obviously required, is the result of care and accurate choices, based on appropriate technical and aesthetic criteria.

The permanent exhibition includes almost all works created by Goffredo Catraro: wood, stone and bronze sculptures, as well as those in different materials the artist used over the years, such as special cements and polystyrene, result of his successfully experimenting with various processes, combinations and composition; and the abstract paintings whose colours themselves are worthy of note. An intense artistic and philosophical research, an inseparable combination in its production path.

Enter the place and the art of Catraro means to finally understand what art is: means to acquire awareness of being directly in front of real masterpieces, in front of an artist extremely attentive to ethical aesthetics, implementing an expressive research through timeless matter metamorphosis in sculpture and painting, with primitive, far-sighted and eternal abstractionism.
